Guangzhou Academy of World Lifelong Education <China>（GAWLE）
Guangzhou World Lifelong Education Research Center <China>（GAWLE） is the only research institution for lifelong education at present in China. It was set up in June 1998.
Its academic activities and results as following:
Held (with The Guangzhou Education Academic Association) “The Academic Forum of Lifelong Education” in the city hall of Guangzhou in Jun.1999;
2.Assisted Macao Adult Education Association to hold the lecture and discussion on the revelation of new Chinese educational development to Macao in Sept.1999, and invited 10 well-known mainland scholars to make a lecture in Macao;
3.Assisted Beijing Normal University to hold “The Proseminar on International Lifelong Education” on Act.16th, 2000;
4. Assisted to hold the “2001 Lifelong Studying Proseminar in Pacific Asia regions of the world lifelong Studying Proseminar , MACAO”;
5.Assisted both Guangdong Province Adult Education Association and Guangzhou Adult Education Association to hold their seminar of “The Challenge and Countermeasure of Adult & Professional Education Under WTO Background” (August, 2002);
6.Held “The Proseminar of the Education Effect for Guangzhou University City” with Guangzhou Society & Science League and Guangzhou University in 2004;
